Implenia Sweden is now looking for a Project Engineer in rock and tunnel driving for the Vasastan project, which is part of the Västlänken in Gothenburg.

The Vasastan project is part of the Haga section of Västlänken, which includes Haga Station, with tunnel driving for a large station area spanning over 50 meters, and includes track tunnels, parallel rescue and service tunnels, as well as ventilation and smoke tunnels. The contract involves extensive and complex constructions and is technically complicated in several respects.

Your future role

If you are at the beginning of your career and want to work on an exciting and extensive project, you should apply for the role of Project Engineer with us at Implenia. As a Project Engineer, you are a natural link between the Site Manager and Block Manager, supporting them in their daily work. You have many points of contact, from your own project team to subcontractors, clients, and suppliers.

Your tasks will include:

• Participating in production and planning meetings
• Monitoring production
• Creating schedules, budgets, minutes, and quality documents
• Working on planning and management of activities or a specific area within the project.

Are you the one we are looking for?

You have a technical college education in a relevant field and an interest in infrastructure projects. To succeed in this role, you need to be a driven person who wants to learn and develop in the field. You are unpretentious, easy to collaborate with, and enjoy mixing administrative tasks with being out in production. Furthermore, you possess good computer skills, are fluent in Swedish and English both spoken and written, and hold a B driver's license. Previous experience in similar work is an advantage. We place great importance on your personal qualities.
